With more than 40 highly successful years in the Industrial Controls and Instrumentation field, founder Jerry Stewart was on solid ground when he launched Arctic Controls, Inc. with his son, Scott Stewart, in Anchorage (Alaska’s “Big City”) in 1985.

Those were wild days – Alaska’s economy was still off-balance from the incredible financial and demographic influxes caused by pipeline construction.  Statewide supply chain disruptions were rampant.  Existing US companies struggled with the complexities that Alaska’s enormous size, distance between cities, and lack of infrastructure created; while newly sprouted Alaskan companies seldom offered the necessary customer support or direction.

From the very beginning, Arctic Controls, Inc. was able to provide Alaska with the quality products, logistical understanding, specialized expertise AND exceptional customer support lacking elsewhere.  As a result, Arctic Controls, Inc. quickly achieved gross annual sales in the $3M+ range and earned the right to exclusively represent many of the world’s best product lines.
