Company Description

Richard Bard is an accomplished captain with an exemplary record of delivering motor yachts and sailboats safely and on schedule. With his more than 25 years of experience, you can put your confidence in him to deliver your boat to any harbor along the West Coast of the United States---or anywhere else in the world. After twenty-five years skippering 40- to 80- foot power and sailing vessels, I have thorough knowledge of the Pacific Coast, including most anchorages and nearly every port from California to Alaska. I've also made extended passages as captain along the U.S. Atlantic Coast, through the Caribbean Sea, Panama Canal, Central America, between Hawaii and the mainland and through the South Pacific. This has given me the ability and confidence to deliver your boat or guide your voyage anywhere in the world where there is navigable water. I welcome delivery participation by owners who see the benefit of practicing navigation in unfamiliar waters, as well as the adventure of exploring new ports and coastlines. Any vessel should be well equipped, in sound shape, and good mechanical condition before a passage begins. If your boat has need of improvement, consider putting my years of experience with installations, upgrades, and repairs to work for you.
