Hughes Marine Firms is a group of maritime service companies dedicated to meeting the needs of the marine construction and marine transportation industries by providing quality equipment and top level service that exceed the needs and expectations of our customers. We provide barges and marine equipment to marine contractors in the New York Tri-state area and throughout the United States East Coast. Our deck barges range in size from small dock building barges to large ABS oceangoing deck barges for transportation of oversize and overweight cargo. In addition to deck barges, we have crane barges, hopper barges, and car floats available for charter in NY and the East Coast. We service all of our barge rental customers at Erie Basin Bargeport, our homeport and loading berth facility in Brooklyn, New York. Erie Basin is the largest private berthing facility for barges in NY. We store and maintain our fleet here, as well as load contractors’ equipment onto our barges with cranes and material handling equipment.
